Ruffles Spicy Ketchup

This is just a quick review of a new chip flavour I received.

Ruffles Spicy Ketchup is definitely a required taste, just like the regular Ketchup Chips by PepsiCo's other brand Lay’s.

The first chip which I tasted was actually fairly spicy, but the few more that followed had more of a zesty taste. This is due to the fact that the top and bottom of the bag usually have more flavouring, if the bag has not been shaken.

spicy           spicy            spicy             spicy

All in all these chips are not too bad if you always thought your Ketchup chips were missing some spicy flavour then these are for you, or if you never liked Ketchup chips I suggest giving these a try.

Battlefield 3–Open Beta Prelude

Battlefield 3 the long awaited true sequel to the series is almost among us, but the beta is here at last. I will be discussing the Xbox 360 version.
Operation Métro is the map or “battlefield'” selected by EA and DICE for players of the open beta. The locale is in Paris, France—with the Eiffel Tower in the distance, sadly not accessible, but who knows maybe a map in the full release will—anyway the map is a mix of mid-range, long distance combat and CQB(Close quarters combat) areas. The only game mode given is Rush. Both teams, the attackers and defenders start off on opposite sides of a fairly large urban park with a small manmade lake with an island situated in the center,  if the Attackers manage to destroy both communications stations a scripted event takes place and the Metro subway system is blown open. The next two sets of comm. stations are technically in the subway, with the first set actually on the subway platform and the other set being up at surface level at the ticket booth. Finally the fourth and final set of objectives are back outside in an urban environment(be careful after 20 minutes of fighting under ground it is really bright on the surface!). Once outside two 3-story apartments come into view which gives both sides of the fray a huge sightline advantage of the A and B bomb sites, that is if the attackers make it this far.

Stages of progression on Operation Métro:

4. Urban area outside of the station

So far so good in my opinion, mind you the beta is how the game was about 4-6 months ago so anything you see in the beta that is wrong will be fixed by now, think of it as a short trip to the past, also there could be new features added or some taken away. You will have to wait and see.

Air Swimmers-Helium Blimp RC

I recently received an Air Swimmers- RC Blimp by William Mark Corp., this is a remote controlled toy like no other. The Air Swimmers are exactly what you can imagine them to be, fish that “swim” through the air, hence the name in which they are given. As of now there are two models the Great White Shark and a Clownfish, (Nemo) for people who don’t know fish. shark
These RCs are loads of fun, the initial setup looks daunting but the included instructions are great, plus there is the web address for an instructional video. Of course you need a source of helium, you can get that just about anywhere, I personally went to Toys’r’us and purchased a disposable tank of the stuff but you can go to basically any store that sells balloons. The only issue I had was with the included 3M tape needed to assemble the toy, the issues were that half of the included extra sticky tape had the sticky side rip off, which in turn would not allow the supporting tape to hold the parts on the Air Swimmer as it is not strong enough on its own. Luckily there was enough to operate the toy.
Anyway, after the tape fiasco the Air Swimmers shark was a blast and it would make an excellent gift for the Holiday season. Make sure you get lots of AAA batteries for endless amounts of happiness. Air Swimmers take(4xAAA).
www.Airswimmers.com for instructional video and ordering information.
www.amazon.com for helium tank if you want to order it, but I suggest going to your local grocery, florists, party store, the Toys’R’us near me had it.
